In 2007 the 24-acre former Irish Glass Bottle factory site at Ringsend, Dublin sold for €411,987,000, the equivalent of €17.2 million an acre.

The light in Ringsend on the day of the auction was said to have had an ethereal quality and those present experienced a kind of euphoria that could only be attributed to the light.

A team from Schrödinger Industries had the foresight to capture a quantity of that light, which has to this day been stored in seven stainless steel tanks. Within each tank the Ringsend light is suspended in Schrödinger Industries patented anti-matter solution.

In 2012 a limited edition of hermetically sealed bottles containing a sample of this light were made available to the general public.

Although limited efforts were been made to verify the claims of Schrödinger Industries and the provenance of the story that €411,987,000 was paid for a glass bottle factory in Ringsend 2007. The reverse of each bottle carried this Disclaimer. Caveat Emptor
